Britney Spears Opens Up About Her Learning During Conservatorship Battle
Britney Spears took Instagram to discuss things that keep her busy in summer and how she has dealt with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and conservatorship battle. The 38-year-old singer and songwriter seemed to be staying hopeful amid difficult times and encouraging fans to do the same.
The singer posted on social media that she had learned various things about life over the past couple of months. She started a post while sharing a fun dynamic with the climate and said that she pulled out her jacket to wear as it seemed that fall is starting, but the next day turned out to be hot.
The I'm a Slave 4 U star admitted that the weather felt confusing to her. However, the entire summer was fun for the "Princess of Pop." Spears further wrote that she learned a lot, swam a lot, and of course, laughed more than ever. However, the singer learned one important thing during the pandemic and the court battle that life provides many instances that are "spontaneous gifts" itself.
"But the most important thing that I did learn was that life has so many spontaneous gifts at each moment. Sometimes we need to learn to slow down and learn how to embrace them all," Spears explained. The singer concluded the post and hoped that her fans and followers had good summer like hers.
While many people commented on the singer's message, there was one message that got highlighted the most. Sam Asghari, who is dating and quarantined together with Spears, commented that the singer herself is a "spontaneous gift" to this world and added three emojis of love in the end.
On the other hand, Spears is busy with the court's battle to remove her father, Jamie Spears, from her twelve years of conservatorship. The recently obtained court documents revealed Spears attorneys' statement that refused Jamie's vision matching with the singer.
The lawyers stated that the singer does not wish to resume performing while leaving the estate management to her father as she did before. The latest statement was made in response to Spears' father, who filed paperwork to argue against adding more lawyers as it will cost more.
During the last hearing in Los Angeles, the legal team of the singer's father requested Spears to appear in the proceedings. The singer's legal team refused the request.
