The official preview trailer for Black Clover Episode 148 has been released and it focuses on Magic Knights’ resolve toward their kingdom and its people.
“We are the Magic Knights. We protect this kingdom and its people. That is our duty! The ones in the shadows are the ones we should be protecting the most!” reads the preview for Episode 148 of the anime series.
In the last episode, the Devil Believers need to pass through Breed Mountain and past the border as fast as possible. They have Nero and Asta’s grimoire.
The Believers know that once they go past the mountain, they will be out of the Clover Kingdom’s jurisdiction and Magic Knights won’t be able to capture them.
The ultimate destination for the Devil Believers is the Spade Kingdom. Nero wakes up and tells the Believers that it is impossible as there is a strong magic region that lies just before the Spade Kingdom.
She adds that the Spade Kingdom is a country filled with snow and mysteries. Between the two kingdoms, there is a neutral zone belonging to no nation, and it is mostly a very strong magic region.
These regions are designated areas that have a powerful field of mana, and it causes several magical occurrences that seem to stop anyone from entering.
The natural conditions are extreme and the swirling mana makes the region highly unpredictable to cross. She warns that even the Magic Knights find it difficult to cross the strong magic region.
