'KUWTK' Fans Think Khloé Kardashian Gets A Lot Of Hate For Her Endorsement Deals
Khloé Kardashian is one of the Kardashian sisters who garnered huge popularity following her appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. While she has struggled to be in a steady relationship, the reality star has always proved that she has a strong business sense.
Khloé has her own denim line called Good American, but some of her critics have had their opinions about the brands she chooses to endorse on her social media platforms, taking jabs at her for promoting cleaning products and diapers. Some of her fans on Reddit recently defended her, claiming she has the right to collaborate with the brands that she does.
Several years ago, she came under fire from netizens for promoting flat tummy teas, a weight-loss promoting product that helps reduce bloating, but is reported to have a laxative effect. In addition to fans, even celebrities accused Kardashian of pushing the product, with activist Jameela Jamil slamming the entire Kardashian family for their irresponsible promotion of products.
Khloé's recent partnership with Febreze also received a lot of criticism from fans after she posted an ad on Instagram featuring a slew of bedazzled Febreze bottles. Fans accused her of being desperate and willing to post anything for money.
Despite all the criticism Khloé has received for her promotion of products in the past, there is a faction of her fans who recently decided to speak out on Reddit to defend the socialite and her choice of endorsements. One of her fans argued that they don't understand the hate she gets for signing contracts with popular brands.
The fan pointed out that if they were her, they wouldn't think twice before getting on board with a big dollar company such as Febreze if the deal works. Furthermore, the fan noted that Khloé is just trying to earn, and the company's PR team thinks their collaboration works, raising questions about all the hate she was subject to for promoting Febreze.
“I respect her for signing the Febreze contract," another fan wrote in the comments section. The fans noted that the contract could possibly be worth a lot of money, as well as freebies, and is wide-reaching as far as base customers are concerned.
One fan said since KUWTK is slated to end next year, it makes sense that the Kardashians are finding other ways to make money. Moreover, he deals with Febreze, and IPSY did not harm anyone, so there is no issue, the fan added.
Other Redditors pointed out that Febreze is an on-brand for Kardashian since she has a reputation for keeping her house clean and organized. There is a possibility that Kardashian’s brand deals will only continue, and with the reality show coming to an end, she might even consider doing more ads.
