The latest news on Prince William and Kate Middleton is that the duo is offering support to all those frontline people who are fighting against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

The royal couple is backing a new platform for mental health that offers continuous support for all the frontline fighters of COVID-19.  William announced that their top priority in the coming months would be to support the platform called Our Frontline.

The Duke and Duchess’ royal foundation is officially supporting a service that is a collaboration between charities Hospice UK, Samaritans Shout, and Mind.  The service is a mix of the online resources and 1-to-1 support for NHS workers, key workers, and the Blue Light emergency services whose mental health could be at stake during this critical time.

The Duke of Cambridge mentioned while the platform was being launched that millions of frontline personnel have put their mental and physical health on stake over the past few weeks so that the people of the UK can be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic. These frontline fighters have to face traumatic situations daily while worrying about the wellbeing of their families and themselves.

The Prince said that he and his wife along with The Royal Foundation would be doing their best to assist Our Frontline. Prince William added that the work will be their top priority during the coming months.

Kate Middleton and her husband have been constantly focusing to create awareness on the criticality of mental health. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the United Kingdom, the couple has been highly supportive of the mental health initiatives undertaken by Public Health England and the NHS that guide the public on taking care of themselves, Town & Country Magazine reports.

The Duke of Cambridge is also scheduled to chair a roundtable call with several representatives from the National Hospital Service and the emergency services sector. The call will enable the prince to know more about the challenges related to the mental health that are impacting the major workers in the United Kingdom, as well as, how these workers can be supported by Our Frontline.

Meanwhile, Hello Magazine has revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have done a special voiceover for the film titled “Every Mind Matters,” which is an initiative by Public Health England. The film directs people on COVID-19-linked mental health support.

Kate Middleton and Prince William also discussed their personal experiences of the lockdown while speaking to the BBC. The couple has revealed during this interview that they are doing video calls to be in touch with their family members. The couple also mentioned that they are homeschooling their two eldest kids – Prince George and Princess Charlotte during this lockdown period.
