Prince Harry Shares The Newest Hobby He Has Picked Up, Credits It To Meghan Markle
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently appeared on a podcast, ‘Teenage Therapy,’ to bring light to World Mental Health Day. The couple was interviewed by the three teenage hosts of the show in their $14.7 million chateau.
Hosts Gael, Kayla, and Thomas interviewed the royal pair, asking them about their brand new life and how they coped up with the negative media they were constantly bombarded with.
Harry and Meghan answered all of the three teenagers' queries and shared some insights on how they, too, were dealing with their mental health in the past few years.
Harry most especially spoke up about a new hobby he has picked up ever since Meghan Markle joined him in his life journey.
The Duke of Sussex shared that he has been meditating a lot, and most of the influence comes from his wife, Meghan, who has been an avid Yogi all her adult life.
He explained that starting meditating had given him so much clarity. He continued saying that it is good to take some time off your day to reflect on the inner thoughts.
The sixth-in-line to the throne also talked about vulnerability. The Prince commented on how the vulnerability is not showing weakness; instead, it helps heal.
“Showing vulnerability in today's world is a strength… The more we talk about it, the more it becomes normal,” Prince Harry said during the interview.
Prince Harry also modestly talked about his mother's death, the late Princess Diana died in a freak car accident in Paris in 1996.
According to the reports at that time, the Princess was found by paparazzi still alive in the car, but no one helped.
Harry briefly shared that the event was such a traumatic experience for him and spoke about how he struggled with his mom’s death for most of his life.
He continued to tell the three hosts that he had to get medical help three years ago after he suffered from depression hugely caused by his mother’s sudden passing.
Meghan Markle also shared her stories about her mental struggle, especially her experience with the UK tabloid, who have written only ugly headlines of the Duchess.
She shared that she was ‘the most trolled person’ of 2019. The ex-actress expressed her feelings towards the negative effect that it had on her at that time.
The podcast ‘Teenage Therapy’ is available on all major streaming platforms.
