Hollywood A-lister Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, tried to protect their children from their marital feuds for their well-being. 

The celeb couple went through a lot of marital woes during their married life. Reports have it that the couple used to bicker and call names in private.

However, they did that, reportedly, to ensure that their children did not get affected due to their differences. They did not want the kids to think that there was a possibility of them divorcing each other. 

However, they could not conceal their marital problems when their kids became older. Just recently, Jada had to speak about her alleged affair with the American singer August Alsina in front of her children and the world. 

Jada and Will have been married for over two decades now. They got married in 1997 and have two children together-22-year-old Jaden Smith and 19-year-old Willow Smith. Will also has another child with his former wife, Sheree Zampino. 

It seems that the couple took a vow early in their marriage that they will not let their kids get exposed to any kind of drama faced by them, according to the People magazine. The couple reportedly considers their children as their “uniting factor.”

A source revealed that there was no chaos in the house. They tried to hide their woes from the three kids. All through their married life, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have mentioned the importance of being connected to their family. 

In an interview last year, Will told him how important it is for him to give time to his family. He mentioned that his family went through a lot of challenges in 2012. 

While he was busy with several projects, his family was sort of unhappy with him. He also reviewed his role in their lives then. The actor said that he worked with Michaela Boehm, an intimacy counselor who helped him appreciate the real essence of life apart from working. 

He worked with her for a couple of years and tried to figure out the real issue. He did not even act in a film for these two years. He just realized that there was more in life than simply acting well in films, music and entertainment, and television industry. 

Meanwhile, Alsina opened up about his alleged relationship with Jada in July 2020. He became a close friend of hers in 2017. The singer insisted that their friendship soon became more than platonic. 

Alsina also revealed that Will was aware and was okay with their relationship. However, he added that he was not in a relationship with Jada any longer. 

Even Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith decided to speak about the controversy after being noncommittal for several weeks in one of Red Table Talk episodes, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
