'The Big Bang Theory'’s Mayim Bialik Chose A Nostalgic Way To Get People's Attention
'The Big Bang Theory' is one of the most loved TV sitcoms ever made. It’s been more than a year since the show was called off after a successful 12th season, but it still seems as fresh as the first season vibe.
What juices up the feelings is when actors who were involved in the show throw in some nostalgia – and that was exactly Mayim Bialik’s plan to get the attention of people.
Mayim Bialik played Amy Farrah Fowler who was the first and last love interest of Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons). As her best friend she had Penny played by Kaley Cuoco. Miss Mayim thought of remembering her time with her best friend with a post that sums it all for them – and fans who have had an eyeful of "The Big Bang Theory" are no stranger to what the weird painting featuring Amy sharing the frame with Penny meant to her.
The actress took to Instagram to share a selfie of herself with her face covered in a mask that has the word “vote” written on one side of it - as she stood next to the iconic painting that she had commissioned to mark the enormous love between the duo.
Well, the throwback picture garnered the attention of every "TBBT" fan as well people of the country due to the caption that she wisely slipped in amid the nostalgic feeling lines.
The 44-year-old wrote, “Visited some old friends today at WB! And yes, I’m repping my Vote mask since there’s just FOUR WEEKS until the election! FOUR WEEKS PEOPLE. Please please please register if you haven’t yet.’ In a final attempt to get her voice heard, she again repeated herself, adding: ‘PLEASE!?!?”
The actress was one of the major characters of the show. Although she joined the Bang-gang a little later than other cast members, it didn’t take her too long to get the appreciation of fans.
With the trip down memory lane, Bialik has done a wonderful job of spreading awareness regarding voting in the country - which many other celebrities are also doing.
A simple, plain post could be sidelined, but a post that features one of the best moments from "The Big Bang Theory" can’t ever be skipped. Kaley Cuoco hasn’t responded to the post yet, but it shouldn’t take anyone by surprise if she reposts it with her account; after all, they are best friends.
