Trey Songz Confirms Being COVID-19 Positive Following The Test
Trey Songz has been tested positive! The 35-year-old singer and songwriter revealed through social media on Oct. 5 that he took the COVID-19 test and his result turned out to be positive. The musician said that he had taken several tests because of the protest and food drives.
Tremaine Aldon Neverson, who is popularly known as Trey Songz, said that he used to test frequently for many reasons, while one of the primary reasons was his son, Noah. The actor further revealed the number of Black people losing their life amid pandemic.
“I’ve taken many tests as I’ve been out protesting, food drives, of course, I have a very young son at home, so I get tested periodically, and this time it, unfortunately, came back positive,” the musician explained.
The Neighbors Know My Name star said that he has been taking the virus seriously and noted that 1 out of 1000 Black people had lost their lives because of the ongoing crisis. However, he revealed being self-quarantined and won't be leaving the house until he is tested negative.
The rapper also disclosed that his grandfather died earlier in 2020 due to ongoing coronavirus. He also urged his fans and followers to take the COVID-19 virus seriously and open up if they get contracted or find any signs of the virus.
He also took a dig at President Donald Trump and pleaded everyone to speak up regarding the contraction, unlike the president. Along with the video message on Instagram, the multi-talented star captioned “down but not out” and asked everyone to keep their masks on and keep watching their hands.
Besides Songz, there are other celebrities who have been open about their contraction with the virus. Recently Kim Kardashian West also disclosed how she has been taking care of her husband, Kanye West, during his COVID-19 struggle.
The mother of four revealed that it is challenging to take care in terms of emotions and physical. The 39-year-old reality TV star revealed that West got the virus at the beginning of the year, and it was scary. The couple shares four kids together, Psalm 1, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and North, 7, and Kardashian said there was no one else available to help in the house.
Kardashian revealed how she has to change the sheets and help her husband to step out of the bed when he was unwell. She further said that she used to keep her gloves and face shield while changing the sheets.
