It’s not a child’s play to bag a no.1 Billboard album – for even the best of musicians and performers. Sometimes, it may take as little as a few months while in certain cases it may stretch up to decades. Machine Gun Kelly or simply Kelly has been in the entertainment business for a very long time – and it is now that he has got his big moment come true.

MGK has hit his first No. 1 album on Billboard with "Tickets To My Downfall." As per Kelly, he had been waiting to achieve this feat his entire career, and eventually, it’s his time.

Taking to Twitter, the 30-year old singer reposted the news captioning that he had been biding his time his entire career to get this opportunity to repost the news.

Machine Gun Kelly’s celebration in the wake of getting a number one album for the first time on the Billboard 200 chart – is a wild one.  To mark the wonderful achievement, the rocker smashed a guitar-cake on some random car captioning “Today is a celebration. Sorry random car.” The rocker topped the chart at the weekend with "Tickets To My Downfall."

He bests his previous highest chart position of number 4 with "Lace-Up" in 2012 and "General Admission" in 2015. The record featured his girlfriend Megan Fox which no doubt enhanced the popularity of the work.

Due to the linkup rumors, there was an excitement among fans to see them together in a video – and MGK did exactly what was expected.  Jennifer’s Body actress Megan Fox appears alongside MGK in the highly sensuous Bloody Valentine track.

It could have been cherry on the top for the singer if the music had been produced after they got into the relationship - he could save a few bucks probably. According to MGK, he had to pay Meghan Fox her salary because at that time they were not seeing each other. The flame of love began after that.

Machine Gun and Fox have now been together for the almost 6 months – and the pair is loving every bit of it. Their first collaboration has resulted in a feat that MGK had never conquered before in his over a decade long career. What remains to see now is what is in the way for their fans. If the pair is planning to roll out more flaming-hot music projects together, fans can easily be counted in. In all likelihood, more on the way!
