Josh O’Connor who plays Prince Charles in the series has recently revealed a big hint on what’s coming in the fourth season.
‘The Crown’ will explore the early marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, as well as the never-ending feelings of Prince Charles towards Camilla Parker-Bowles.
In an interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, Josh O’Connor reveals a little bit of what to expect in the coming fourth season of ‘The Crown’.
According to Josh, he feels sympathy towards Prince Charles as he read the script for the fourth season of the show.
He continued on by saying that the Prince seemingly had a hard time explaining himself during the time he was married to Princess Diana.
Connor also stated that Charles was not allowed several times to explain himself in certain situations.
Prince Charles, Josh believes was ‘wronged’ by Diana and felt like the late Princess of Wales had an addiction to the spotlight.
The actor who has gathered praises for his portrayal of the heir apparent to the throne of the British Monarchy continued to say that Prince Charles's inability to express emotions due to his upbringing could have had the chance to lead a different life with Camilla if only he said something.
Peter Morgan, the creator of ‘The Crown’ has warned royal fans to be careful with watching the new season as he revealed that he had no contact with the palace during the making of the show, and to separate reality from fiction.
‘The Crown’ season 4 has also gathered much traction after it was disclosed that they will be portraying Princess Diana’s eating disorder in the new season.
