Prince Charles Speaks About His Experience With COVID 19 For The First Time, Shares His Heartbreak With The Increasing Death Toll
The pandemic has taken over the world, creating a sort of simulation for all the people. The world stopped in its track when the COVID 19 virus spread across the world, changing everyone’s lives as it runs its course.
The British royal family has publicly addressed the issue since the beginning of the pandemic and has openly shared that they are not immune to the changes that come with it.
Tragedy struck the royal family after Prince Charles was announced to be diagnosed with having the virus. The heir apparent had to undergo quarantine by himself in his Highgrove estate.
Having gone through this, Prince Charles is one of the best speakers for giving hope and raising morale for those who are suffering through the virus and those who have lost their loved ones from it.
In a recent online engagement, Prince Charles spoke about his own experience with the Virus.
Prince Charles attended the online Potignano conference, which talks about the relationship between the United Kingdom and Italy.
In his speech Prince Charles expressed his grievances with the ongoing pandemic, addressing the high death tolls both in Italy and the United Kingdom.
He also shared his suffering while having COVID.
The future King of England also praised Italy for pushing through the pandemic despite being hit badly and became of the virus hotspots in Europe.
"It has affected lives and livelihoods in countless ways and particularly cruelly in Italy of course. It is utterly heartbreaking that so many people should have lost their lives there, just as they have in the United Kingdom,” Prince Charles shared during the conference.
Italy who has been recovering from the high death rates has been keeping the country resilient, losing tens of thousands of people in a three-month period.
The United Kingdom was also amongst the country with a high rate case, and a strict lockdown rule had to be imposed in the country, only easing up during the beginning of the summer holidays.
Prince Charles has been back to his royal duties since June after recovering from COVID 19 himself.
He has apparently also taken over some of the royal engagements for the Queen after the royal palace decided that the Queen was to only do face to face engagements for selected occasions.
The royal family has been completely continuing their duties, attending their patronages and such.
Prince Charles was just in Northern Ireland a few days ago to visit one of his patronages there.
