Floyd Mayweather Wants $300 Million Each For Fights With McGregor And Khabib
Floyd Mayweather is counted amongst the best in the history of sports called boxing. There are many who step up to argue, but then Mayweather’s fight stats speak volumes of his talent as a boxer. In his magnum career, the Pretty Boy has battled 50 times and has emerged out of the arena victorious every time – which is every inch unprecedented. The amount of confidence in such a talented person must be rising like a spire.
It seems one more time the ring is calling Mayweather. The boxing legend has revealed that he would want to throw his hat back in the ring to fight one of the greatest Conor McGregor again if he gets $300 million for that. Besides McGregor, Mayweather also hinted at squaring off with the reigning UFC lightweight champion, the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov for the same price.
It was in 2017 that the Money and the Notorious one locked horns for what would turn out to be one of the biggest and most valuable showdowns in the long history of the sport. With his bout against McGregor that took place in Las Vegas which he won – Mayweather took home a staggering $280 million. McGregor also laughed all the way to the bank with $130 million which is his biggest paycheck till date.
The Notorious has been asking for a rematch, but it is only now that Mayweather has talked about the possibility of it happening.
The triplet is pretty weird – Mayweather has fought McGregor and has defeated him. Khabib has also made McGregor bite the dust in the UFC arena. McGregor is looking for a rematch with both of them.
Speaking in an interview, Mayweather brought to light his feelings on the potential matches with McGregor and Khabib.
The Money said, "Your health is your wealth. So as far as me going out there and competing against a guy like Conor McGregor, or a guy that’s really inexperienced. Absolutely [I’d fight Khabib Nurmagomedov]. Those are $300 million fights. It’s OK for me to go fight a Khabib or a Conor – with those two fights alone, I could pick up $600 million. It’s all entertainment."
Ridiculing McGregor’s fighting style, Mayweather added on to say that McGregor doesn’t know how to punch and his punches are so ‘soft’ that it almost feels like he is having fun.
The fight makes won’t want to miss the opportunity and the fighters are ready as hell, no doubt, all of them.
