Shia LaBeouf Hit With 'Battery And Petty Theft' Charges After Altercation With Man Back In The Summer
Even Steven’s star Shia LaBeouf has been hit with charges earlier this week from the Los Angeles City Attorney after he had an altercation with a man over the summer.
According to the charges filed by the unnamed plaintiff, he and Shia had a little altercation back in the summer, wherein Shia was said to have threatened him and took away his cap, and not returning it.
The Hollywood star has had many charges filed against him the past 7-8 years. His first scuffle with the law was back in 2014, when he was arrested and filed with disorderly conduct.
Shia LaBeouf disturbed the performance of the musical Cabaret on Broadway in New York. The same year the star admitted to having lost his ways due to his drug and alcohol addiction.
Back in 2017, he got into two other altercations, one when he was involved in a drunken scuffle, and another time when he became aggressive towards a police officer after asking for a cigarette from the officer.
Both times the star was charged and plead guilty to disorderly conduct.
The charges filed this year have been sent to Shia already. He has been charged with battery and petty theft.
The Los Angeles City Attorney investigated the incident and found that Shia LaBeouf was the aggressor in the situation. Both of the camps involved were not seriously injured during the altercation.
There has been no word from Shia’s camp regarding the situation.
Shia, who starred in world war II film ‘Fury’, claimed that the movie changed his life. According to the star, filming Fury made him realize his ways.
The star played a soldier who relied in his faith in the movie.
He, allegedly, became a ‘Christian’ after filming fury and not in a ‘Bullsh*t way – but in a real way’ as claimed by the actor, and has worked on his anger management and alcohol addiction problems.
The star continues to get jobs in Hollywood despite his unruly behavior outside of work. He recently appeared on a virtual table reading of ‘Fast Times In Ridgemont High’, where he joined stars like Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Jimmy Kimmel, Henry Golding and many more.
He was confirmed to be part of Olivia Wilde’s ‘Don’t Worry, Darling’ film, a psychological movie that follows two couples but dropped out at the last minute after scheduling conflicts.
Shia LaBeouf’s role in the movie has been replaced by singer and actor, Harry Styles.
