Ellen DeGeneres Receives Praises From Australian Guitar Prodigy Taj Farrant And His Dad
Several people who were interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres on Ellen Show shared their harrowing experiences being on the program.
But an Australian guitar prodigy’s experience while being interviewed by DeGeneres couldn’t be more different from what the others have shared about the comedian.
While speaking with NCA NewsWire, Farrant’s dad, Brandin revealed that he’s been in touch with the producers of Ellen Show. They are reportedly in discussions to have Farrant perform on the talk show again someday. Last week, the 11-year-old released his first single, “Just Can’t Sleep.”
But Brandin said that Farrant’s appearance on Ellen Show may not happen until 2022.
During the interview, Brandin also had nothing but wonderful things to say about DeGeneres.
“People always ask me, what was it like. I cannot speak more highly of the franchise. There was nothing that hard. They were great people. It was easy for us and she made it easy for the kids. Taj felt comfortable and he was even dancing in the green room. We are in talks at the moment to try and make that happen with the single being released. We have an acoustic version coming out and we may be able to get back and have another shot at Ellen, or maybe not,” he said.
Farrant is also grateful to DeGeneres for paving the way for more people and musicians to get to know him and his music. The 11-year-old said that before he appeared on Ellen Show, he had around 30,000 followers on social media.
But after DeGeneres interview him, his followers grew to 100,000 in just two days.
Meanwhile, not everyone had a wonderful experience while being interviewed by DeGeneres on Ellen Show. YouTube personality Nikkie Tutorials previously slammed the comedian.
During her interview with a Dutch talk show, the YouTuber described DeGeneres as cold and distant.
"Maybe I'm being naive, but I expected them to welcome me with confetti: 'Welcome to The Ellen DeGeneres Show! But instead, I got greeted by an angry intern, who was a bit overworked. I expected a Disney show, but I got a 'Teletubbies' after dark,” she said.
The makeup mogul also revealed that she didn’t get the same treatment that other A-listers received when they appeared on Ellen Show.
“Every guest at Ellen had a private toilet, but I didn't. I couldn't even use the closest toilet to me because it was reserved for the Jonas Brothers,” she said.
