Jennifer Aniston recently revealed that she almost quit acting before she got the call to star in The Morning Show.

During her interview on the SmartLess podcast, Aniston revealed that she contemplated whether she was in the right profession after she starred in a project that she wasn’t prepared for.

Within the last two years, Aniston started wondering if she is doing what she’s meant to be doing because her previous project sucked the life out of her. And it also came to a point where she became unsure if acting was still something that interested her.

And if she decided to quit acting, the Friends star said that she would probably pursue a career in interior design because she loves it and it’s her happy place.

Meanwhile, Aniston said that what prevented her from quitting was her recollection of all her previous performances most especially in Friends. Brad Pitt’s ex-wife said that her role in Friends is still her favorite of them all.

“I loved, well, obviously Friends. That's a no brainer... I would have to say that would be number one. I always love shooting with Sandler. Just Go With It was super fun. We've known each other since we were 19,” she said.

Aniston also talked about her 2014 movie, Cake, and said that it was an experience that felt creatively fulfilling for her.

“Everything I imagined as an actor I'd be completely afraid of and suck at, I didn't so bad,” she said.

In related news, Aniston also made headlines this week after Cheat Sheet revisited the actress’s wedding to Justin Theroux. They revealed that while Aniston remained close to her Friends co-star, not all of them were invited to her wedding.

The publication claimed that Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer weren’t invited to her wedding because they were never really that close to Aniston. But the actress’s female co-stars, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were there.

After the wedding, LeBlanc and Perry indirectly said that they didn’t mind the snub. During a previous interview, LeBlanc even called Aniston and Theroux a great couple.

Perry also confirmed that he wasn’t invited to the wedding. But he’s still happy for Aniston and Theroux.
