Princess Anne Allegedly Found Herself Behind Bars During Jail Visit
Princess Anne recently visited a jail in the United Kingdom. And her trip paved the way for one tabloid to publish a misleading headline about Princess Royal.
New Idea claimed that Princess Anne was behind bars and that she went to jail. The tabloid even used an exclamation point to make their headline more bait and click.
However, their article is just about Princess Anne’s visit to a forward-thinking prison in the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s only daughter visited the prison to see how the people there are battling the coronavirus pandemic.
Princess Anne also spoke to staff who have been coordinating virtual court hearings so that they can continue processing the inmates. The royal also had a tour of the facilities
Photos and details from Princess Anne’s recent visit were shared via the official Instagram account for Buckingham Palace.
“Yesterday, Princess Royal visited Bullingdon Prison to mark Hidden Heroes Day. HRH is Patron of Butler Trust, a charity dedicated to recognizing outstanding practice by those working with offenders. HRH spoke to prison staff who have been coordinating virtual court hearings so that they can continue under current social distancing guidelines. It’s nice Princess Anne honors those who help the seriously troubled,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne also made headlines this week amid claims that she managed to hone her rebellious side simply because she’s the second child of the queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
While speaking with Express, psychology, and research scientist Dr. Sam Wass talked about some of the traits of second-born children.
“Patience was one of the big characteristics that second borns were likely to have as they have to wait longer for things to come through and for their lives to change. Based on the survey we did, it's definitely true that birth order affects a child's development in every family, it just affects it differently in every family. If you have a predisposition towards being angry then the second born might turn that into being rebellious. If you have a predisposition towards being quiet then being the second born might lead you to be more patient. There are sibling dynamics in every family; they just push people in lots of different ways,” he said.
