The fascination of the people with the British Royal family has had some of its most private members admit to some fact and deny some lies. With several royal experts nitpicking the entire royal squad its not question that many of their pasts are dug up and laid upon the world to study. As Royals, they are used to this, but some are not and you have to have thick skin to survive in the royal institution.

Prince Charles, the heir apparent to the British throne, is the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Charles also called Duke of Cornwall was welcomed into the world back in 1948. As the first child of the reigning monarch, Prince Charles had a lot of pressure put upon his shoulders.

The young Prince Charles was described to be timid and shy, he was the exact opposite of his father, who was a Naval officer and a headstrong masculine man.

In several counts, Prince Charles was said to be a wimpy child, who was more interested in art than sports and had several health problems as a child.

This was much of a disappointment for Prince Philip, who often was very harsh to Prince Charles. Upon the birth of Princess Anne, two years after Charles, Prince Philip finally found his copy.

But although Prince Charles was timid and quiet, there was one thing that he was very fascinated about as a child.

Princess Alexandra, the Queen’s cousin had a medical procedure done to her in the Buckingham Palace, a small procedure that Charles was seemingly very captivated in.

Alexandra explained that he was playing a game of ‘stones’ during a part when one of the party-goers and players bit her on the lip that became a blister, and would often bleed at times.

She had to call on a doctor to have it ‘pierced’.

4-year-old Prince Charles then insisted that he watch the procedure being done.

Princess Alexandra described it as a gruesome fascination from a 4-year-old.

It’s no wonder why Prince Charles is a patron for many health care organizations, as it seems that the Prince has had a liking for medical procedures or interest in the medical world at a young age.

One of his patronages is although quite controversial. As a patron of the Faculty of Homeopathy, Prince Charles was heavily criticized about this but sticking to his beliefs, the Prince has yet to step down despite all the negative comments of his patronage to homeopathy.
