Adam Lambert Reveals Brian May's Health Updates
Adam Lambert is on cloud nine as he is working with Roger Taylor and Brian May, who are popular Queen rock band members. The 38-year-old singer has been touring since 2011 alongside all the Queen band members.
In an interview with Keltie Knight, the singer spoke about the upcoming album featuring him, Taylor, and May called Live Around the World. Lambert also provided a health update of the 73-year-old musician who went through a heart attack a couple of months ago.
Lambert revealed that he had a word with May and he is much better health-wise. He also disclosed that in the summer the band had plans but due to the coronavirus pandemic things got pushed further. The singer noted that the timing of the pandemic and heart attack is interesting.
The singer showed his concern as he mentioned if the musician got a heart attack during the tour, it could have been worse. The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again star seemed appreciative of the ongoing situation that made May stay home with his loved ones during the recovering process.
"Who knows if we would have been on the road. That would have been very difficult, and I know that he got the medical attention that he needs and is fit as a fiddle," the singer added. The lead guitarist of the band took his Instagram to inform fans in May that he suffered from a "bizarre garden accident".
The guitarist revealed that he hurt his back, which also caused him a "small heart attack". He continued to stress on the word "small" and explained that it was a mini heart attack, which didn't cause any major harm to the musician.
However, May admitted that the pain in his chest remained for 40 minutes and he could feel the tightness. The musician further said that his arms felt different and was sweating a lot during the attack. Lambert explained that touring is like a battery, it surely has a lot of energy on the initial level but later the person feels drained out.
Lambert admitted that tours give the artists a lot of energy but eventually once they are home, they are absolutely tired and cold as the body gets completely shut down. While the pandemic postponed the tour of Lambert and Queen rock band, the trio got inspired to create an album together.
