Marie is safe, but this is far from over in Black Clover Episode 146. The new episode is called Those Who Worship the Devil.

The official preview trailer for Black Clover Episode 146 is out teasing what happens next in the anime series.

“Thank goodness you are all right, my angel Marie! But this isn’t over! Next time on Black Clover Episode 146: Those Who Worship the Devil. I won’t be satisfied until I beat the crap out of them!” reads the preview.

Meanwhile, the previous installment opens with a massive crowd gathered in the heart of the City of Lehart. The people are cheering for the Devil Banishers and hailing them as the bringers of justice they have been waiting for.

The people of the city are demanding death to the devil believers. Meanwhile, Asta, Yami and the other Magic Knights are undercover to thwart the execution. Yami says that they have a message from Julius informing them that at noon the Devil Banishers plan to execute Nero and Marie.

Julius adds that they don’t know how many enemies they are dealing with. He then lays out the plan for the mission. First, the Silver Eagles and the Crimson Lion Kings will help with the rescue and protect the civilians at the venue.

In the meantime, the Blue Rose Knights and the Green Praying Manties will patrol the square and the main squad that will save the hostages will be the Black Bulls.

Julius stresses that their main mission is to rescue the hostages and asks Yami if he is with the plan. Yami tells his squad that the lives of two of their own are stake and they should not put their guards down.

Black Clover Episode 146 is scheduled to telecast on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020. The episodes are currently streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
