Meghan Markle Starring In ‘Fly On The Wall’ Documentary Series On Netflix? Here’s The Truth
Meghan Markle will, allegedly, be starring in a fly on the wall documentary series on Netflix alongside Prince Harry.
The Sun was first to report the dubious claim saying that the Duchess of Sussex is desperate for the public to see who she really is. As such, she has decided to appear in a Netflix documentary.
A source told the tabloid that Prince Harry and Markle will be allowing a team of cameramen to get into their home and record their every day lives.
The insider also claimed that Netflix is looking for ways to earn money out of Prince Harry and Markle. As such, even though they’ve pitched shows centered on environmental causes and other things, the streaming giant opted to push through with the fly on the wall documentary series.
However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that they are untrue. It sounds hypocritical if Prince Harry and Markle would allow a team of photographers to record their daily lives when one of the reasons why they quit The Firm is due to their lack of privacy.
A spokesperson for Netflix also denied the tabloid’s claims by saying that Prince Harry and Markle are not starring in a reality show. However, the heads of the streaming platform also refuse to reveal what kind of shows Prince Harry and Markle will be producing for them.
The rumor-debunking site also noted the fact that several rumors have been published since it was announced that Prince Harry and Markle will be teaming up with Netflix.
For instance, some tabloids claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are producing a documentary on Princess Diana. And they don’t, allegedly, have Prince William and the royal family’s support.
“The truth is no information has been publicly revealed about what projects specifically the Susssexes are working on. There’s no evidence that a Princess Diana documentary is being made, and now we know for a fact that no reality show is coming either,” Gossip Cop said.
But before the report was debunked, royal editor Ingrid Seward first accused Prince Harry and Markle of hypocrisy.
“We were told they had gone to California for greater privacy. The more they talk about themselves, the more people will want them to do just that and won’t be interested in anything else they have to offer,” she said.
