Dwayne Johnson who has never publicly supported any political party before, stepped in to support Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. The 48-year-old actor made his first political recommendation for his fans to support this election as the 2020 election heats up.

While the actor has been rumored to support the Republican Party, he recently turned down the rumors by speaking out on social media regarding his political leaning. The actor openly supported Democratic Party candidates, former vice president of the United States, and vice presidential nominee.

Johnson also confirmed that had voted for both the parties before and his views are moderate. He addressed himself as a political centrist and independent when it comes to voting. However, during such a critical election for the presidential race, the actor revealed his support towards Harris and Biden.

While he urged his fans and followers to vote in the tweet, he also mentioned that progress needs humanity, courage, respect, kindness, strength, and empathy. The former WWE superstar posted a long 7 minutes and 32 seconds video in a blue body fitting shirt.

The actor explained in the lengthy video the reason for supporting the party and how this election seemed to be the most critical that the United States has witnessed in several decades. However, the actor acknowledged that he has never done something like this in the past hinting towards his political involvement.

Johnson admitted that when he goes for something, he tries to make it as big as possible without holding himself back. He further revealed that his support came after he spoke with Harris and Biden about various important concerns going on in the country and how they will solve the issues.

The actor further said that Biden and Harris revealed their plan of action and how they will earn people's respect in America after they move to the White House. According to the actor, Biden said that he will be truthful and accept his failures while taking complete responsibility.

On the other hand, Harris mentioned that country needs to heal from so much that it has gone through in the past couple of years including the coronavirus pandemic. Within a couple of hours, the video garnered huge attention on social media and gained over 10 million views on Twitter.

A couple of months back, the actor called out Trump following George Floyd's incident and asked for a powerful change in leadership. He also called the country being crippled at the moment and needs positive change.
