Julia Louis-Dreyfus Joins Veep Again For A Special Day
Veep Reunion is on the way! Yes, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is soon going to join the reunion of the political sitcom, Veep. Louis-Dreyfus and other cast members on the show will be seen together on Oct. 4 for a special event.
The 59-year-old actress took social media to announce the event. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there are several shows who did a virtual reunion with cast members in order to either entertain the audience or a certain cause.
The star cast of Veep is also coming together for a cause and that is the Democratic party fundraiser in Wisconsin. Louis-Dreyfus posted a video on Twitter and informed her fans and followers that democracy is currently on the line and everybody needs to take down the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, and ensure that Joe Biden wins.
"The future of democracy is on the line, people. Come and join us and be part of winning Wisconsin, taking down Trump and electing Joe Biden," the actress said along with the announcement caption of Veep Reunion.
Furthermore, the actress went on to tag all the cast members of the sitcom, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Sam Richardson, Tony Hale, Clea DuVall, and Matt Walsh along with David Mandel who is an executive producer.
She concluded the tweet with a link to register and urged her fans to contribute any number to join the reunion of the cast. The website has mentioned that the reunion will be live-streamed only once and the amount chipped in will be used to get the current president out of the White House.
Previously, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin had a fundraiser with stars on Sept. 4 through The Princess Bride's table read that helped to raise more than $4 million. According to Variety, the show will be moderated by Mandel.
In August, the Democratic National Convention's fourth night was hosted by Louis-Dreyfus. The New Adventures of Old Christine star revealed her conversation with the former Vice President of the United States, Biden. The actress recalled her fond memories of the interaction that was filled with kindness and warmth followed by her cancer diagnosis mention.
Louis-Dreyfus is trying her best to help Biden get into the White House as she has been actively taking every possible platform to promote his party. The actress said that every road to win election goes through Wisconsin and if Trump doesn't win Wisconsin then he will definitely lose the election.
