As Vin Diesel bids farewell to the Fast and Furious set, while navigating 2020, he appeared on a video call with Kelly Clarkson for her show Thursday from a recording studio to launch his debut single "Feel Like I Do," in association with Kygo. This is the action movie star's first solo single.

Diesel says "Feel Like I Do" is the first song on Kygo's record label Palm Tree Records. The tropical house track is a great choice to listen to with palm trees swaying in the breeze, although that wasn't originally the setting for its worldwide debut.

Video panels placed on the set of NBC's daytime talk show, hosted by Clarkson, was graced by the traditional dancing audience members from their homes, a setting where Diesel felt "honored" to unveil the first listen of his song. "Kelly, I am so honored to be able to debut my music on your show," he told Clarkson in a special video message.

The 53-year-old handsome actor explained that he felt honored to debut his music of Clarkson's show because she first won Idol, and somehow has managed to retain her authenticity until now. Diesel said he was blessed that on a year that he would ideally be on a movie set, he has another creative outlet.

The Pacifier star also lauded the Norwegian DJ-producer for being one of the first people to believe in him. The bromance between the two has been going on for quite some time now, particularly after Diesel made an appearance on a remix of Kygo and Selena Gomez's "It Ain't Me" hit.

The Fast and Furious actor hinted at deviating his focus into a recording booth several times during his appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden in March when he shocked his fans by announcing that he plans to come up with a full-length album. Beaming with excitement, he told Corden that his kids love when he sings, and they love it so much that it feels like J.R.R. Tolkien.

He initially used to tell his kids little stories revolving around hobbits, and "then next thing you know, here we are on The Lord of the Rings," he added. Diesel said he feels there's a little bit of that in him, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
