The announcement of Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy has created a joyous and happy atmosphere amongst the royal family members. Princess Eugenie and husband of two years, Jack Brooksbank announced that they are expecting through a post they shared in their official Instagram account.
This will be the couple’s first child, as well as the first grandchild of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
The happy news was shared in a post and has been liked by several members of the royal family, most recently it was liked or hearted by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The official account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is the Kensington Royal account, the account liked the photo posted hours after it was put up.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh also released a statement congratulating the couple for their baby news. This is the Queen and Prince Philip’s ninth great-grandchild.
Princess Eugenie who was recently photographed beaming was able to hide her pregnancy for two semesters, unlike Kate Middleton who had to announce her pregnancies weeks earlier.
Kate Middleton is rumored to be already helping Princess Eugenie adjust to motherhood, after all, Kate has three children of her own, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.
The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Eugenie are very good friends and Kate, according to sources, has been a great support to Princess Eugenie during her wedding to Jack last 2018 up to her pregnancy now.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the other hand have yet to congratulate Princess Eugenie on her pregnancy news.
Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie are first degree cousins, they are very close to each other, so it’s a wonder why Harry’s camp has not congratulated the Princess.
This also comes as welcome news for the royal family after Princess Eugenie’s own father, Prince Andrew was involved in a horrendous scandal last year.
The post shared by Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank has been liked by hundreds of thousands of people. They will welcome their baby early next year.
This will most probably push the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to the UK early, to join their family members in celebrating the birth of the baby.
Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank baby will be 11th-in-line to the throne, pushing Prince Edward to 12th.
