The British royal family has been in a lot of scandalous occurrences in the past year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family created a great rift between the royal couple and the royal institution.

There was also Prince Andrew’s involvement with the late pedophile billionaire, Jeffrey Epstein that has led to his momentary departure from his royal duties.

But despite all of these, there was one silver lining that the royal family celebrated, back in July a royal member, Princess Beatrice, the Queen’s grandchild married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The nuptials, which was kept under wraps has been great news for the royal family. Princess Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi’s marriage was not announced until later on, choosing to do so as a security concern.

The couple was married at Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace with only a handful of guests in attendance, including the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the couple’s parents, siblings, and Edoardo’s three-year-old son, Wolfie.

The couple then celebrated their reception with 14 close friends in attendance.

Princess Beatrice has not publicly acknowledged or talked about her secret wedding to Edoardo Mozzi, but during a video of which she did for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, Princess Beatrice said something about her July wedding.

Princess Beatrice thanked everyone who took part in the Kids Summer Art Competition launched by the Hospice. One of the submissions was one from a child named Chloe.

Chloe drew a wedding for her submission, which Princess Beatrice took the time to comment on. Princess jokingly said that Chloe’s wedding drawing could have been her own nuptials.

"Because I had the chance to get married this summer, and it was so much fun. But I am not sure I looked as smart as Russell Bear does in his outfit.” Princess Beatrice said.

The Princess then thanked Chloe for her beautiful submission.

Princess Beatrice also attended an exhibition last Wednesday at Windsor Castle, which featured her wedding dress, shoes and her wedding bouquet.

The Princess dress choice was a hand-me-down from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. This particular choice was praised by many royal fans.

Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress was first worn by the Queen to a State dinner in Rome in 1961 and two more occasions since then.

The York family has much to celebrate in the year 2020, after Princess Beatrice’s wedding and now, the announcement of Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy.
