Prince William was previously accused of snubbing Meghan Markle.

In the book Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed that Prince Harry felt that his older brother snubbed his wife due to the comments that he made.

Prince William, reportedly, discouraged Prince Harry from marrying Markle very early on because they just started dating.

But years ago, royal photographer Steve Wood also talked about Princess Anne’s relationship with Princess Diana. In the documentary The Real Princess Anne, Wood said that Princess Anne felt that Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson were too tabloid for her taste.

“She was extremely annoyed when Diana became center of the stage and then Fergie became center of the stage as well for a while. She said about them behind their back several times, ‘those girls’. She viewed them both as lessening the stature of the Royal Family ‒ too much tabloid for her,” Wood said.

According to Express, it seems reasonable to interpret Prince William’s words as snobbish given how closely resembles the words of Princess Anne.

But it is also entirely possible that Prince William was just looking out for Prince Harry because he only wants what’s best for his younger brother.

A source told the authors of Finding Freedom that that Prince William and Prince Harry have spent their whole lives with people that are trying to take advantage of them. As such, they needed to look out for each other.

“They’ve both developed radar to detect that type of person, but as William didn’t know a whole lot about Meghan, he just wanted to make sure Harry wasn’t blindsided by lust,” the source said.

Meanwhile, there are claims that Prince William and Prince Harry are in a much better place in their relationship right now. The royal siblings have, allegedly, started talking after they released a joint statement following Princess Diana’s death anniversary.

However, some tabloids continue to concoct dubious stories about Prince William and Prince Harry. They are pitting the royal siblings against each other amid claims that the former is upset with the latter’s Netflix deal.

Prince William doesn’t allegedly want Prince Harry to produce a documentary on Princess Diana. But as of late, there hasn’t been any confirmation that Prince Harry and Markle will be releasing such a project on Netflix.
