The life of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has become a phenomenon after the two royal quit their royal duties and moved to America. They recently purchased a sprawling $14.7 million estate in Montecito, Santa Barbara, California.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been residing in their new Montecito mansion since early July, the mansion has been given the moniker ‘The Chateau’ by their fans.
In a surprise appearance made by the Duchess of Sussex in America’s Got Talent finale, she gave her fans a glimpse of the interior of their new home, which was immediately scrutinized by her avid fans.
Harry and Meghan have been doing several virtual engagements inside their home and have had interviews on their lawn. but this has been the first time that the fans have seen the interior design of Harry and Meghan’s chateau.
Fans were quick to identify all of the objects in the video, from the sofa Meghan Markle is sitting on, to the scented candle on the table!
The first object identified by the Dukes and Duchesses fans was the vase of hydrangeas on Meghan’s far left. According to fans, Meghan has always been a big fan of fresh flowers, this accent adds a vibrant pop of color in her home.
The scented candle on Meghan’s table is from Diptyque Tubereuse, which according to fans causes a whopping $60 for a scented candle. Fans have pointed out that the Duchess has been a big san of the brand.
The books in Meghan’s background has also been recognized by her fans, with one pointing out a portrait book by Mark Hom.
Another book was ‘The Black Godfather’ book, which is a 2019 Netflix film directed by Reginald Hudlin. The book and film tell the story of music executive Clarence Avant, who was named as ‘the godfather of black music’.
‘Women: The National Geographic Image Collection’ was also spotted by fans, which is a book that celebrated the lives of women all around the globe. Harry has good relations with National Geographic, partnering with them to launch a photography competition years ago.
Overall it seems like the royal fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex love their new home, although it is only a glimpse of a tiny part of Harry and Meghan’s nine-bedroom house, fans love it.
The couple has been very active in American media in the past week. Meghan alone appeared in two separate videos, for TIME’s 100 and America’s Got Talent.
