There were rumors about Katie Holmes going around with Josh Lucas in 2019 and reports claimed that both of them were an item. 

Last summer, a magazine contended that Holmes had started a romance with Lucas on the rebound. Rumors had it that she was taking revenge against her ex-boyfriend Jamie Foxx. She had a breakup with Foxx before the report was published. 

Although the publication called the relationship a revenge romance against Foxx, a source revealed that Holmes adored Lucas. The insider stated that the First Daughter was extremely comfortable with him unlike her past equation with Foxx. 

Incidentally, Holmes and Lucas acted together in a movie titled The Secret: Dare To Dream, which according to the outlet was the starting point for their alleged romance. The source insisted that the duo remained in touch even after the shooting for the film ended.

The anonymous tipster added that their relationship went to the next level and suggested that they might even get married. The dubious source pointed out that Lucas’ appearance in Holmes’ life took place at the right time. 

It was even suggested that the Batman Begins actress was seriously contemplating about remarrying and wanted to become a mother once again. While there is no doubt that Josh Lucas is a highly attractive person, Katie Holmes and he was merely co-stars. 

When a close source, who is a spokesperson for the actress was contacted, it was confirmed that the story was incorrect. Also, a year has passed since this ridiculous report was published, and they still did not marry, Gossip Cop reports. Moreover, Holmes is currently going around with chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. according to a report published by Daily Mail. 

So, it is safe to dismiss the romance rumors of Holmes and Lucas. The same magazine has come up with several incorrect stories about the Dawson’s Creek alum in the past. For example, just last year, the outlet had insisted that Holmes was expecting her former boyfriend Jamie Foxx’s baby.

The outlet also insisting that the former lovebirds even exchanged their vows in a secret wedding ceremony in the French capital. However, that is tough to believe as they had already split. Also, the actress was not expecting a baby.

The same publication claimed earlier this year that the actress was pregnant with Justin Theroux’s child. The story seemed to be too far-fetched, to say the least.

It was bizarre as the publication had just reported that Katie Holmes got secretly married to Jamie Foxx. It was also obvious that even this narrative was phony. As of date, there is no solid piece of evidence to establish that the actress was dating her former co-star Josh Lucas.
