Kate Middleton’s most recent face to face engagement had many people fawning over a tiny detail in the Duchess’s outfit.

The Duchess of Cambridge who went out for a face to face engagement, meeting parents and creating rapport regarding how they coped with the pandemic wore a gold necklace that had the initials of her three children.

The necklace, which was from Welsh designer Hayley Jones, had three circular pendants that had the initials of Kate Middleton’s children engraved on them.

This is an ode by Kate Middleton to Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five and Prince Louis, two, that they are close to her heart despite having to work all day.

The Duchess of Cambridge also dressed down for the occasion, wearing a simple white tee, pink trousers and white flat shoes.

She had her long locks flowing past her shoulder and had a great time chatting with the parents in Battersea Park.

The face to face engagement applied social distancing, wherein the Duchess was seated on a bench far away from a parent.

This is not the first time the Duchess of Cambridge wore jewelry that has the initials of her loved one. Earlier this year, Kate Middleton was seen wearing a medallion that had the initials of her three children, G, C, L.

This particular jewelry was also from designer, Daniella Draper and cost over $1000. The Duchess wore it during a 24-hour three-leg trip in Britain.  

In early 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge also donned a necklace that carried a pendant engraved with Prince George’s full name – George Alexander Louis – and a heart-shaped charm with a ‘W’ engraved for Prince William.

According to sources close to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton supports local jewelry makers and is known to buy from small sellers when it comes to her own personal jewelry.

Kate Middleton is not the only royal who puts on her jewelry engraved with the initials of their loved ones. Sister-in-law Meghan Markle was also photographed wearing a necklace with an A pendant.

Meghan Markle wore the said necklace on a Wimbledon match, wherein the Duchess of Sussex was watching her good friend, tennis player and Wimbledon champion, Serena William.

The Duchess of Sussex was once reprimanded for wearing jewelry with ‘H’ engraved on it for Harry when they were still engaged.

Kate Middleton has been praised for her current engagements, resuming face to face for selected events.
