Zendaya Gets Wishes From Jacob Elordi Following Her Emmy Win
Actress Zendaya received her first Emmy award in 2020 for Euphoria. Her co-star on the drama series, Jacob Elordi congratulated the 24-year-old actress through social media. The actress who portrayed Rue Bennett's character on the series earned the title of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
The actress accepted the award virtually on Sept. 20 and made her way to become the first-ever youngest female to get such honor. The 23-year-old star took Instagram to praise her co-star via Stories. He posted a picture of Zendaya from the Euphoria series and addressed her as "captain".
The Australian actor further added emojis of two hearts, which made fans wonder more about the rumored couple. Elordi and Zendaya have been holidaying together in Greece in 2019. The couple has been seen getting cozy and laughing as they strolled in New York City earlier this year.
Both the co-actors were also seen enjoying grocery shopping together in Los Angeles in February. Recently, The Kissing Booth actor was also rumored getting close with model Kaia Gerber. They both were seen together in Malibu having dinner and now they rumored lovebirds are enjoying Mexico with Gerber’s parents.
According to the source, Gerber and Elordi has been spending time together and seemed to be extremely glad to be with each other. On the other hand, Zendaya received wishes from other co-actors such as Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, and Storm Reid.
The 17-year-old actress wished through an Instagram post and said that she is extremely proud and excited about her win. She further congratulated and disclosed how much she loves Zendaya. The actress who was honored by the award became speechless as she accepted the award.
She started her acceptance speech by revealing that she has no clue how to express her feelings. She went on to admit that she is extremely thankful for the honor.
"I'm incredibly grateful and honored. Just to have my family here, and that love and that support in this room meant so much to me -- to be able to share this moment with all of them," she said. She noted that her family is with her in the room and she is thankful for their support throughout her journey.
The actress said how grateful she is to share this special honor with her family along with lots of emotions that she is going through. However, she concluded the speech and said that the "stressful" part came to an end.
