Prince Edward’s wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex is said to have influenced many royal members including Kate Middleton and Autumn Kelly.

 

The 55-year-old Countess is a full-time member of the Royal Family. She married Prince Edward and became a part of the Royal Family. Since then, she has been making some choices that have allegedly influenced quite a few future royals including Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton and Autumn Kelly. 

 

Sophie has made several public appearances by herself, as well as with her husband over the years. Her immaculate fashion sense has apparently helped in discharging her royal engagements well. Natasha Henson, British Style Society’s editor told that Edward’s wife seems to love great designs and functions. 

 

Henson added that “Her off-duty looks are often practical” and depends on the kind of duties she has to perform. Sophie is known to incorporate her own style even while donning a casual look. She does so by using special tailored items.

Her off-duty looks indicate that she has a proactive and positive approach while fulfilling her family, as well as, royal duties. The Countess has come up with her unique fashion and dressing up style that could have been an inspiration for other royal members like Kate Middleton. 

 

Ever since she got married to William around 9 years ago, Middleton’s style has drastically changed. She was known to prefer a laid back look before marrying the Duke of Cambridge in 2011. Many say that the Duchess of Cambridge has been taking tips from the Countess with her fashion and style choices.

 

Henson feels that Edward’s wife is fond of “timeless looks.” She feels that such looks have inspired Middleton, as well as, Autumn Kelly. Both these royals were mostly seen in casual clothing prior to entering the Royal Family. 

 

In recent years, these young royals have changed their clothing style to suit royal responsibilities. Yet these two royal ladies do not shirk to wear re-wear outfits and close items that enhance their personality. They also use fabulous accessories just like Sophie. 

 

Middleton also loves some of the Countess’s favorite designers such as Erdem and Wickstead, Express reports. Kate Middleton became a part of the British Royal Family about 12 years after Countess of Wessex. 

 

Meanwhile, according to another report by Express, many feel that Sophie, Countess of Wessex has reportedly stepped up to fill the vacuum created by the exit of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Many royal experts say that the Countess is The Queen’s favorite.
