Prince Harry was amicably the one prince that truly was loved by the people of the United Kingdom. Harry has been compared to be too much alike to his late mother, Princess Diana and he had the rebel streak to him that many feared would be his downfall.

When the Prince announced his engagement to Meghan Markle, an actress from America, the people celebrated for the Prince but the royal institution had a different outlook on their relationship.

The affiliation between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the royal firm became sour overtime. The Sussex’s who stayed with the royal institution not even three years announced their resignation from the royal duties January this year.

According to royal insiders, Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision of leaving their royal post was a shock to everyone in the family.

The talks of them leaving were apparent but the Queen who understood that they were to stay for a while till their separation was flabbergasted when they announced suddenly in January their plans.

Several insiders revealed that the Queen did not know the couple was to announce their plans publicly, which led to the Queen calling for the senior royals for a meeting – the Sandringham Summit.

Harry was said to have negotiated their deal with the Queen during the Sandringham Summit, asking to keep some of his honorary military titles.

During the meeting, the Queen dealt a heavy blow on Harry’s offers, which led to Harry and Meghan deciding officially that they did not want to be part of the royal firm.

The blow was Harry and Meghan being stripped off of their rights to use ‘Royal’ in their commercial ventures.

This means that the couple had to take down their SussexRoyal social media and their Sussex charity organization.

Harry was also completely stripped off of his honorary military titles, now only carrying the titles he gained serving the Royal Army for 10 years.

The couple then was given a timestamp to their decision. A one year deal wherein they can pursue commercial ventures, which will be reviewed by the royal officials on March 2021.

Harry and Meghan will then decide whether to go join the royal institution once again or to turn their backs on the firm completely.

The couple is still titled as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but their ‘HRH’ titles have been removed. The Queen has also been put in the spot to remove the former titles from Harry and Meghan.
