Cardi B is setting the records straight by turning down the rumors. While the 27-year-old rapper has filed a divorce from Offset, there were people on social media accusing her of publicity stunt as her latest album will drop soon.

However, the rapper decided to open up about the divorce on Instagram. Cardi B thanked her fans for being supportive and for all the prayers and love she received. She went Live on Sept. 18 to inform her fans and followers that she doesn't require prayers anymore as she is absolutely fine.

She went on to explain her emotions and said that she didn't shed a single tear for her husband, Offset. However, she noted that every time there used to be a fight between them Cardi B was the one who used to cry every time and feel miserable.

Cardi B continued that she doesn't like that kind of "s--t" and disclosed that she didn't cry this time. She further explained the reason for now crying during the Live Instagram session. The WAP star mentioned that the divorce is not filed because he cheated in the past.

"The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s--- that ever happened before. It's not because of cheating. I'm seeing people be like, 'Oh, he has a baby on the way.' That's a whole f--k--g complete lie. That's the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that's bulls--t," she explained.

The multi-talented star admitted that she is tired of arguments and not being able to see "eye to eye". She confessed that things have changed between them and believes that she should leave before someone cheats again.

Cardi B also shed light on rumors that said she filed the divorce for the upcoming music album. She said that people do "grow apart" from one another and there is no funny business here. The rapper said she has been with Offset for four years and have a two-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

She noted that there is a complete household that she has built with the 28-year-old rapper. According to the Magistrate Court of Fulton County in Georgia, the couple has been married for over three years and Cardi B has filed the divorce papers on Sept. 15. As per the documents, Cardi B has requested the court to grant her physical and legal custody of her daughter.
