Katy Perry has secured a restraining order from the court against a stranger who posed a considerable threat to her and her family. Read on to know more about it!

The songstress had to approach the court for a restraining order against an individual who was, allegedly, a trespasser and even threatened her loved ones. Perry accused that the man was a stranger and gave fraudulent information to her security team.

The trespasser told the team that Perry and her beau Orlando Bloom had invited him to their house. The singer also claimed that he scared Bloom and even jumped over the fence to enter into her property, Republic World reports.

The Roar hitmaker insists that she suffered from significant “psychological” and “emotional” trauma after the person tried to trespass on her property in the documents filed.

The protective order was signed by a judge and directs the man, William Terry to be at least one hundred yards away from Bloom, Perry, as well as, their newborn baby Daisy Dove Bloom. He is also required to stay away from Bloom’s son Flynn who is 9-year-old.

Katy Perry has described the individual as a “stranger” while filing the request. She also charged that the person has been “stalking” her.

It was on Aug.3, 2020 when the Last Friday Night artist mentioned that the man tried to trespass into her property for the first time. Just a month later, i.e. on Sept. 8, 2020, the same man, reportedly, attempted to cross the fence of her Beverly Hills, Calif home. The filing further mentions that the trespasser was put under citizen’s arrest, E! News reports.

When the alleged incident took place, the person was detained for the offense of criminal trespassing, according to the filing. However, the police released him later.

Perry wrote that not only did the man tried to forcefully enter into her home; he also threatened to kill her partner, Bloom. The songstress also mentioned that the stranger warned Bloom that he wishes to break his neck.

She mentioned that Terry is a dangerous person and she required protection against him from coming too close to her, their kids, her partner, house, or any other place they occupy.

However, the existing restraining order is a temporary one and will be effective only until Oct. 8, 2020. A hearing will again take place in the court before taking any further action against the alleged trespasser.

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry welcomed their first baby together last month. The couple has been seen spending their time with their newborn baby daughter in Montecito.
