Chrissy Teigen Accidentally Spills The Beans On Baby's Gender
Chrissy Teigen accidentally revealed whether she and her husband John Legend would be adding a baby girl or a baby boy to their family. The 34-year-old model made the revelation in a video she posted to her Instagram Stories earlier this week.
Opening up about complications that required her to be on bed rest, Teigen started referring to her baby on the way as a "he," said she didn't expect to have any sort of complications since the baby is "really really healthy." She went on say "he is big," and "he is probably," before realizing she just spilled the beans on her baby's gender. "That was stupid," she says in the video.
The Cravings cookbook author realizes what she has done, and covers her mouth before sharing her health update with her Instagram followers. "Hahahahaha might as well tell you," she wrote in the caption section of the post.
This will be the third child for Teigen and her husband Legend, 41. The couple share a daughter Luna Simone, 4, and a 2-year-old son Miles Theodore. In her Instagram Stories, Teigen told her followers about the complications she was facing prior to pregnancy and revealed that her placenta has some problem.
Referencing to the time she was pregnant with her daughter Luna, Teigen said her placenta has been the bad part of her pregnancies. She went on to reveal that it stopped feeding her son, Miles, leading to serious issues as it completely stopped taking care of him.
Teigen said she was stealing all of her son's food and continued getting huge, while he remained small. This led her to give birth to Miles early. She goes on to reveal that she was induced both times.
Despite admitting that her placenta is "super weak," Teigen told her followers that her baby on the way is growing beautifully. The Chrissy's Court star confirmed everything is good, and she is feeling good, although her placenta is causing her to bleed a lot, which makes it a pretty high risk.
Noting that she needs to ensure her placenta is healthy again, Teigen said she is not moving and is one a complete and total rest, except for getting up to use the washroom. Several sources confirmed her pregnancy to PEOPLE back in Aug., after Legend released a music video confirming they were expecting their third child, and Teigen posted a video of her baby bump to social media to reveal the happy news.
