Renee Zellweger was surprisingly linked to Brad Pitt last year. And the rumors seem to come out of nowhere.

According to Now to Love, Zellweger was pursuing the Ad Astra actor, and she’s also desperate to get to know Pitt properly. The Bridgette Jones Diary star also, allegedly, thinks that Pitt looks much hotter than ever.

A source also claimed that Zellweger was hoping that she and Pitt would get a nomination at the Academy Awards. This way, they could talk during the awards show.

However, there is no truth to the tabloid’s claims. In fact, a rep for Zellweger told Gossip Cop that the claims are absurd. They couldn’t also help but wonder where the rumors are coming from.

An entire year has passed and Zellweger and Pitt never encountered each other at the Academy Awards. If the actress was really desperate to meet Pitt, there would’ve already been photos of them chatting at the awards show.

However, it was Pitt and Jennifer Aniston that reunited at another awards show.

According to the rumor-debunking site, Zellweger seems to still be single right now. After all, she hasn’t been seen with anyone in public as of late.

Pitt, on the other hand, is, reportedly, dating Nicole Poturalski. However, Pitt and Poturalski have not confirmed their relationship.

In fact, Gossip Cop said that saying that Pitt and Poturalski are dating could be a bit of a stretch. After all, the 27-year-old model and single mom is still legally married to her husband, Roland Mary.

Meanwhile, Pitt has been linked to a slew of other celebrities before he stepped out in public with Poturalski.

The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor was previously rumored to be dating Alia Shawkat. At one point, Pitt was also accused of getting the actress pregnant.

However, the dating rumors between Pitt and Shawkat died a natural death after the latter confirmed that they are just friends.

Pitt was also rumored to be getting back together with Aniston. But after Pitt sparked dating rumors with Poturalski, tabloids claimed that Aniston is furious with her ex-husband.

After all, Pitt didn’t, allegedly, inform her beforehand that he was already seeing someone else. The tabloids then went on overdrive by saying that Aniston has moved on from Pitt, and she’s now dating a slew of men all at the same time.
