BTS Mesmerizes Fans With A Brilliant Performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’ As They Performed On ‘Dynamite’
BTS showed once again why they are such a popular band worldwide. The band’s recent performance of their popular single Dynamite on America’s Got Talent enthralled the audience.
The K-pop band performed its latest hit single called Dynamite on Sept. 16 2020 on America’s Got Talent. The band members –RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, were heavily complimented by ARMY.
Their performance broke the Internet while the hashtag #BTSonAGT was one of the highest trendings on Twitter. Thousands of people started tweeting after their performance got over.
The band never fails to mesmerize its fans. They first performed on this hit single at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. The Korean band executed the song in front of a huge green screen, which displayed Seoul and New York.
The K-pop band did not disappoint their fans when they did a repeat performance on the same number on America’s Got talent. The boys wore their retro looks in the same manner as that of the song’s music video.
The group shot the performance in a “one-take” style at an amusement park. The park seemed to be a well-known South Korean theme park called Everland.
There were plenty of Easter eggs for the ARMY during the performance. A license plate was also displayed with the bandmates’ signatures and their debut date, as well as, the logo of the ARMY.
The ambiance was that of warm lighting and it looked like a summer night thus transitioning the single from a fun summer song to a track ideal for autumn.
Fans were in a frenzy as they praised not only the group as a whole but also its members. As the performance progressed, Suga was seen dancing on a car’s hood while RM and V crooned from inside the vehicle.
Dynamite happens to be BTS’ maiden single track which has been sung completely in English. Meanwhile, the promotional activities of the song are continuing, the single has broken innumerable records.
Its music video became the all-time biggest premiere on YouTube post its release with three million viewers watching it at the same time, according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet. Dynamite created a new record for being the most-viewed music video within the first day on YouTube with a viewership of around 101.1 million.
The song also made its debut at the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which is a first-time accomplishment for the band. BTS will perform on their latest hit single Dynamite once more at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 18, 2020, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
