Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Foundation website reveals their plan to help all those frontline workers who are battling it out amid the COVID-10 crisis. 

The Royal Foundation site is updated with William and Middleton’s plan to offer “practical support” to all the frontline workers who have “mental health needs” during the coronavirus crisis. 

The official website of the 37-year-old Duke of Cambridge and his wife explains how their organization aims to help all those people who are working in the frontline to handle the COVID-19 crisis in the United Kingdom.

The portal further outlines the royal couple’s plan to support and promote various mental health charities and expresses gratitude to the contributions and efforts of all the frontline workers in the UK. The latest update comes just after some experts had shared that the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge would be leading the British Royal Family amid the health crisis. 

The home page of their website reveals details of their on-going work and mentions that the foundation will concentrate on the COVID-19 crisis in the coming weeks. The website also mentions how William and Middleton are planning to spend time so that mental health patronages and charities can be supported. 

The latest development comes after it was declared that Prince Charles’ eldest son is now the patron of the National Emergencies Trust. The goal of this trust is to collaborate with various charity organizations to raise and disburse funds. It also supports and helps victims when they face a domestic disaster, Daily Mail reports. 

A short video clip was uploaded on the Instagram account of Kensington Royal on Sunday. Prince William interacted with a couple of beneficiaries of the Trust - Moorlands Community Charity, which runs meals on wheels and a food bank in Yorkshire and a community farm called Dal Dy Dir farm based in Wales.

William mentions in these video calls how his country has always risen to a challenge whenever it faces a crisis. The update on their official website comes a few weeks after some sources revealed that Prince Charles’ eldest son and Kate Middleton wished to revamp their efforts amid the coronavirus crisis. 

According to Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, there is a possibility for the Duke of Cambridge to step up “into statesman role” during this crisis. Incidentally, William was the first person from the Royal Family to have the privilege of addressing the country in a video during the crisis.

Nicholl feels that it was a “significant” move and said that the Duke of Cambridge and his wife were the “best placed” royal members to become “pillars of support”: for their country. Last month, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited an NHS 111 center in Britain.
