Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, recently went sailing with his fiancée, Alizee Thevenet.

The couple went on a vacation to Italy to celebrate their anniversary, which is very much deserved. After all, James and Thevenet have long planned their wedding. But they had to postpone it twice due to the deadly coronavirus.

On his Instagram account, James a stunning photo of his future and another photo of himself with Thevenet.

“What a year it’s been! Two homes, lockdown, two attempts at a wedding. A litter of puppies, launching a new company, a beard shave, and much more. But the best part is I get to share it with you… and I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us,” he wrote.

According to Hello! magazine, there is still no word as to when James and Thevenet’s wedding will take place. But there are speculations that it will push through once it’s safe for the couple, their family, and their guests.

Before going to Italy for their vacation, James also surprised his fiancée with a Bvlgari necklace from the brand’s Save the Children collection. He also surprised Thevenet with a romantic picnic with their six dogs.

James and Thevenet got engaged almost a year ago and they shared the happy news on their social media accounts.

She said OUI. Our secret is out but we couldn’t be happier to share the news,” James wrote alongside an adorable photo of the couple.

Rumors that the couple got engaged surfaced a week before they confirmed the engagement. Back then, a source told Daily Mail that the couple was trying to keep their engagement a secret.

“They’ve been keeping the engagement secret, but news has started to leak out among their friends. They’ll be announcing it formally next week,” the source said.

Months after they got engaged, Thevenet’s mom, Jean Gabriel Thevenet gushed over her future son-in-law.

“James is a very charming man. I am very happy that Alizee is together with James. I know she is very happy. We keep our fingers crossed for them... James and the Middleton family are very charming. We have a lot of admiration for the whole Middleton family—James, his sisters, and his parents,” she said.

James and Thevenet had just been dating for over a year before they got engaged in 2019.
