The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been becoming more popular as they build their own brand in the land of the free. Harry and Meghan’s decision to settle in the United States is powered by the fact that the couple is seeking financial freedom from the royal family, but also this is Meghan’s home country. 

Harry and Meghan have been staying in the United States for almost six months now, and within that six months, both of them have done numerous things. 

The couple has been extremely active in virtual engagements and has spoken numerous times on areas and organizations that are both very close to their heart.

In the past week, the couple made headlines after the two signed a multiyear contract with streaming giant Netflix. The couple believed that by signing with Netflix they can produce movies, TV programs, documentaries, and children’s programming that can send a message to a global audience. 

Meghan Markle especially, the ex-actress turned Duchess has a history of being an active part of an activism movement. 

The Duchess is a known supporter of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. As a biracial woman, the Duchess has spoken about her experience with racism before she married Prince Harry. 

Now, according to reports the beautiful Meghan Markle has been in the talks of producing a movie about the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. 

The Duchess is said to have an interest in creating a biopic of Patrisse Cullors, one of the co-founders of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement 

Patrisse Cullors, Opal Tometi and Alicia Garza launched the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement back in 2013. 

The movement has become a pendulous even in history after it sparked a huge protest across America calling out for the justice of George Floyd’s death in the hands of police officers. 

The protest sparked protests from around the globe as well, with protests erupting in the UK, in the European countries as well as the middle east. 

According to a source close to the Duchess, “Meghan has been blown away by the incredible work Patrisse has done. She thinks her story needs to be told – and she would love to be the one to make it.”

Harry and Meghan have signed a huge deal with Netflix with a paycheck of $150 million. Their projects which will be towards a good cause has been praised by Netflix executives. 

The couple is also rumored to be in the talks with Spotify for an exclusive podcast of the two royals.
