Kim Kardashian West has been in news for various reasons. Lately, she has faced huge criticism for her latest line of maternity collection. The 39-year-old media personality doesn't seem to be holding back her thoughts on the backlash.

While Kardashian opened up about the condemnation received by netizens, she received support from Chrissy Teigen, who is currently expecting her third baby. The 34-year-old is a family friend of the Kardashian and she has supported the family numerous times in the past.

The SKIMS is the new line launched by the Kardashian that ensures women enhancing the shape with the help of undergarments. The maternity collection is yet to get launched in the market and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a glimpse of the collection on her social media.

The teaser of the collection didn't go well with some of her followers and they accused Kardashian of encouraging women to hide their natural body shape during pregnancy. The mother of four slammed those comments and tweeted a series of posts to explain her point of view.

"To anyone who has an issue with maternity solution wear, and if you haven’t been pregnant before you may not know the struggle of what it’s like carrying all of this weight the way I did along with millions of strong women," she began to explain.

She mentioned the @Skims handle on Twitter and wrote that the upcoming line is not created to look perfect but to ensure that the new line supports the body. Kardashian explained further that it won't make the belly look slimmer but it will create the layer to support better compared to other garments.

According to Kardashian, these new layered inner wear will prevent women from dealing with "lower back pain" as they carry additional weight during the pregnancy. She said that the leggings will provide compression to the women that will relieve the pain that is often led to swelling.

The star went on and said that the collection is designed to support women even after the baby is born. It will not only support but also give enough comfort to the new mothers that are required following the delivery process.

She stressed on women who go through cesarean need such comfort the most. Kardashian revealed that there are numerous reasons to create this maternity collection while one of them is women kept messaging her and asked for it.
