Rachael Ray Reveals Inside Details After Fire Burnt Her House
Rachael Ray revealed her house after a devastating fire that burnt almost everything down. The 52-year-old television personality's house caught fire in New York. The incident took place a couple of weeks ago and later Ray informed her fans that her husband, John Cusimano along with her dog, Bella is absolutely safe.
However, the Worst Cooks in America celebrity chef shared that she was upset because several memories and precious things were destroyed. The Rachael Ray Show gave inside details of the house to her fans in the new season.
The latest episode will premiere on Sept. 14. Ray disclosed a sneak peek of her house before the episode premieres and shared what all things her husband and she had lost amid the home fire. The star looked upset in the video as she used "was" for each spot of her house while touring.
While fans could reflect the sadness as she displayed her burnt library, bedroom, bathroom, and so on, they wrote heart-wrenching comments on her Instagram. As she posted the inside video on her social media, the celebrity author revealed that the house is barely able to stand and things are falling apart.
The Rachael Ray's New Catchphrase star also shared pictures on Sept. 12 that reads the details of the tragic incident. Ray mentioned that her house was burnt on Aug. 9 and it consisted of notebooks that were 40 years old, memories of 15 years, thoughts, life's work, drawings, and so on.
"In the years that I lived here, I learned an awful lot. In the few weeks since it burned, I think I've learned even more. Today, we're going to share what's left of our home," she added. Before the fire occurrence, the star used to film her cooking show at New York home during the ongoing pandemic lockdown.
Ray said that she and her husband was in the house when the fire started but thankfully they were safe. However, it is still not clear what caused the blaze in the first place. Soon after the fire was cool down, Ray thanked all the firefighters on Twitter who helped them to save their house.
She appreciated the team of local firefighters who were gracious and kind enough to put effort. She admitted that this difficult time is something everyone should be "grateful" rather than complaining about what lost have been made. Ray's mother was also in the house when the incident took place.
