Celebrity baby news is always a welcomed headline, especially if it’s a beloved actress or couple that just had a child. One of the many joys that actors and actresses look forward to is having their own family and separating their public life from their private ones. Having a child as a celebrity is a big break for them, this is also one of the deal breakers in Hollywood. 

Leighton Meester who played Blair Waldorf in the famous TV series, Gossip Girl has had a child in the past week. 

Meester who is married to fellow actor, Adam Brody, had their second child together earlier this week. Adam Brody was part of the TV show Orange County or known as OC. 

The two already share one child, daughter, Arlo Day. The couple’s second child is a boy and according to Brody, he is a ‘dream boy’.

The actor appeared in Twitch show The Time Boys Game Night wherein he confirmed that earlier this week, him and Leighton welcomed a baby boy into the world. 

The actor was lost for words as he described his second child. 

Leighton and Adam are very adamant about their private lives but last April, Leighton was photographed with a baby bump, confirming that she was indeed expecting. 

The mother-of-two talked in the past about motherhood, wherein she said, "[You have them] and you’re like, oh, okay," she told, "I don’t love anyone else. I just love them and I don’t even love myself as much as I love them! Not even close. I don’t know, would I kill somebody or die for them? Sure. I would."

Meester and husband Brody recently starred in Single Parents, wherein Brody appeared for a cameo.

The two apparently met in the set of ‘The Oranges’ in 2011, and after three years the two tied the knot in a very intimate wedding.

Leighton Meester also opened up about being a working mother when she had daughter Arlo Day, she expressed that Arlo did not want her and husband to work at the same time, stating that they should work on different schedules.

Now, Arlo Day finally has a playmate, his younger brother.

In the midst of this happy baby news, Leighton Meester has also been asked whether she will return as Blair Waldorf in the ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot. As of now, the actress has yet to release a statement regarding the reboot.

Ed Westwick, a co-star of Blair’s and his love interest in ‘Gossip Girl’ confirmed that he was not returning.
