Naya Rivera's accident has revealed new details through the investigative and autopsy reports. The 33-year-old star was drowned in Ventura County's Lake Piru and her body was found on July 13 after searching for a couple of days.

The late actress went for boating with her four-year-old, Josey when the tragic incident took place. However, there are the latest reports obtained by ET on Sept. 11 in which Josey revealed new details about the incident.

As per the reports, the mother and son duo jumped into the lake on the count of three together to swim at Diablo Cove. Within a couple of minutes of the jump, Rivera told Josey to hop into the boat back while she helped him to get on the boat.

"Shortly after they jumped in the water, the decedent told Josey to get back on the boat. She helped him onto the boat and he then heard the decedent yell 'help' and she put her arm in the air. She then disappeared into the water," the four-year-old said.

The same description matched with the employee’s story who work at the boat rental. The worker also gave a similar account regarding Josey falling asleep on the motorboat. The employee revealed that the little boy said "Mom was gone".

As per the statement received, the worker offered the Glee star a life jacket before she headed towards the lake and she refused to take it. However, the worker said that he kept the life jacket despite the actress declined to take along with her.

Later, the authorities searched for the life jacket and found on the motorboat. Yolanda Previtire, Rivera's mother told the authorities that the actress was good at swimming while she also disclosed that the boating trip included a barbecue session at the Lake Piru.

Although the plan changed and she rented the motorboat instead of cooking at the lakeside. To testify the same, the investigators found charcoal in the actress' car along with food items for the barbecue. The investigative report mentioned that Rivera had an infection due to sinus and had a medical history that involved vertigo.

The reports revealed that the sinus infection along with vertigo becomes worse in water. As per the reports, The Royal Family star had vertigo that led her to vomit many times. However, the actress eventually learned how to take care of herself with help of antihistamines.
