The 46th Season Of 'Saturday Night Live' Is Set To Air Next Month, What To Expect?
A great reason for Saturday Night Live fans to celebrate, it’s confirmed that season 46 of their favorite show will launch next month and be will be broadcast live.
According to an announcement made by NBC, the SNL season 46 will debut on Saturday, October 3 at 11:30 p.m. eastern.
Other than that, the broadcasting company offered no further details about anything related to the core of the show such as the musician or the host, themes, or changes due to the pandemic, etc. Even, no information has been divulged about who might be in the cast for this year’s run.
However, the network has said that the show is expected to be returning to the home channel, Studio 8H.
Other popular NBC late-night TV shows have already made their way back to the studio. NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon returned to a New York studio in the mid of July at 30 Rock. However, tons of pandemic-led changes were evidently observable such as no in-studio audience, the number of staff members could be counted on fingertips, and celebrity interviews conducted via streaming video.
Besides Tonight Show, Late Night Show with Seth Meyers starting airing on the network from 30 Rock earlier this week.
SNL, in general, remains in full swing during the run-up to a presidential election, which will be declining in the month of autumn.
