Justin Theroux Feels Divorce From Jennifer Aniston Was Devastating But ‘Gentle’
Although Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are no longer a couple, they still have a great fondness for each other.
It is little wonder that their fans have been always keen to know more about their past relationship. The exes still, reportedly, share a strong connection and remain on amicable terms.
If one looks back at the time Jen and Theroux decided to split, their divorce was undoubtedly one of the least dramatic and most amicable divorces in the history of Hollywood. Theroux was speaking to a publication when he recounted that the end of their marriage was “heartbreaking” yet “gentle.”
The ex-couple was married for just two years before they decided to part ways. The Lady and the Tramp actor feel that theirs was the gentlest divorce possible because there was no hostility or bitterness.
It is obvious from the actor’s statements that they parted amicably. The actor also explained neither Jen nor he would think of throwing insults or quarreling with each other.
The Spy Who Dumped Me actor mentioned that although it may sound boring both Jen and he had great respect for one another. As a result, their separation was painless, to say the least.
However, the actor added that it was “heartbreaking” because the friendship they shared would change after their split, Geo TV reports. Despite that, the actor feels both Jen and he is very proud of the way they have conducted themselves.
Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston were engaged in 2012 and exchanged their vows in 2015. They got divorced just two years later.
Meanwhile, Jen’s other former husband Brad Pitt, allegedly, had an affair with her BFF Gwyneth Paltrow. Pitt and Jen met on a blind date in 1998.
They had a quick engagement and decided to get married in 2000. However, before their romance, both of them were, reportedly, going around with other celebs.
Incidentally, Brad Pitt dated noted Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow who was also his on-screen wife in Seven before he met the Friends alum. The duo started going around in 1994 and decided to get engaged a couple of years later.
Pitt and Paltrow eventually decided to end their engagement in early 1998. The Fight Club actor would go on to date Jen only a few months afterward.
Gwyneth Paltrow was possibly aware that it would not be a wise decision to get married to Pitt. She was just 24-year-old at that time while Pitt was 31, according to another report by Geo TV.
Jennifer Aniston went on to marry Justin Theroux after her divorce from Brad Pitt. Meanwhile, the Hollywood heartthrob got married to Angelina Jolie after his split from Jen.
