Denise Richards To Exit 'RHOBH' After Two Seasons
Season 10 of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills revolved around Denise Richards' alleged relationship with Brandi Glanville. Although the Wild Things actress adamantly denied the allegations, it looks like these unproven claims have triggered her exit from the show.
With Richards, 49, saying goodbye to RHOBH after two seasons, the former fashion model will not be returning to the show, her rep told PEOPLE, while Bravo hasn't released a statement confirming her exit yet. The news was originally reported by Variety.
Richards made her series debut in 2019 for season 9 of the show. She decided to give away her diamond following a tense season 10, wherein she found herself locking horns with nearly all her co-stars. The season largely revolved around the drama surrounding Richards, including her being upset about her fellow Housewives bringing up the topic of threesomes at her family barbecue in the presence of her children.
During the same event, Richards' fellow Housewives also brought up her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville, although she has been adamantly denying it. When the season started, the Housewives accused Richards of mom-shaming after she confessed she didn't feel comfortable bringing her daughters to meet the group of they talked about threesomes in front of her children and their friends during a party at her Malibu home.
The women deemed Richards' outrage as "hypocritical," given that she was open about intimate relationships, even revealing very personal details about her husband Aaron Phypers on season 9. This season, Glanville accused Richards of gossiping about the other Housewives, saying the actress called Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave "pathetic" and saying that Erika Girardi is "cold-hearted."
Despite the season coming to an end, Richards is still on the hot seat. The first part of the three-part RHOBH reunion saw her complaining about being a target this season, which Lisa Rinna, denied saying Richards was the one who gaslighted her castmates. Moreover, Girardi opened up about her frustrations with Richards.
Girardi said Richards was the one who decided to have an adult conversation at her own barbecue, in the presence of her own kids. "The whole thing is really frustrating," she added.
Agreeing to Girardi's remarks, Mellencamp Arroyave said Richards' inability to admit she was trying to make the other women look bad was frustrating. Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle Beauvais disagreed, saying they didn't think Richards was trying to make someone look bad.
Girardi told host Andy Cohen that Richards was trying to make them look bad as a group, adding that she had a perfect setup for that. Beauvais said she wanted Richards to remain on the show, ahead of the reunion.
