What Will Happen To Meghan, Prince Harry's Frogmore Cottage Following Paying Back $3.2M Renovation Cost And Signing Netflix Deal
Earlier this week, the royal couple paid back $3.2 million to the taxpayer to fulfill the entire royal cost following the announcement of their big multi-year deal with Netflix.
As per their stepping down down agreement, the Sussex pair would be allowed to keep their UK residence in Windsor on the condition if they paid back the extensive renovation cost to the taxpayer. Well, they did so.
According to a reputable source, the amount paid covers the entire cost of the Frogmore Cottage and the property of Queen Elizabeth. In addition to that, the contribution ensures that it will remain the UK residence of Prince Harry and his family.
In the pursuit of happiness, liberty, and privacy, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to the royal clan and regimes in the month of March. The royal pair is enthusiastic about their new life in Los Angeles and as a matter of fact, they are getting on surprisingly well.
Since the debt has now been paid off, there is no doubt that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to continue their status in the UK.
Although the Duke is keen to go back to his home, travel restriction due to the pandemic has kept him from traveling. However, in a recent interaction with staff and volunteers from the Rugby Football League to mark the sport's 125th birthday on zoom call, Harry expressed his will to return home next year.
The Duke said that the Rugby League World Cup is scheduled for next year, so he would definitely be coming back, and had there been no coronavirus tragedy, he would have already returned. When asked if he was making good moments in the new country, the Duke responded that he was actually loving his new life in America.
As it is all but certain that the Duke will be returning to the UK next year, a strong likelihood may be sensed that the couple would spend their precious time in Frogmore Cottage to relive the royal moments.
As per Omid Scobie, the author of Finding Freedom, the Sussex pair loves to spend time at their Frogmore Cottage and "be active on the field."
The Sussex couple is getting ready to have a change of atmosphere. On the other side, royal experts and fans are eager to witness the Sussexes’ reunion with the royal family as it has already been around six months since their departure.
