The ‘Free Britney’ movement has been gathering some media coverage as the movement becomes more and more infamous for its allegation. But according to new bombshell news, the movement, which started as a joke among netizens is actually backed up by Britney itself.

Britney Spears, 38, has been fighting for her autonomy from her father’s management. The popstar’s lawyer has filed a court document on behalf of Britney in an attempt to make sealed documents of her case to be public.

The movement went viral when Britney Spears joined Tiktok, an app used by the young generation, wherein they believe that the pop star is being held hostage and is being controlled.

The star became famous at a very young age, her father was her manager and is said to be controlling the star even until now. The star has been fighting for her legal rights but her father has won over her autonomy. 

According to Britney’s father, the star is not mentally stable and has been on and off her medications. The star has been open about struggling with Bipolar and has been seen publicly having meltdowns.

One of the most famous meltdowns of the star saw her shave her own hair in a public location. This has led to the star hiding away from the public for some time.

Britney Spears is also a mother of two and has since divorced her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Britney has custody of her kids. 

The court document filed by Britney’s lawyers, stated, “Far from being a conspiracy theory or a 'joke' as James [Jamie], reportedly, told the media, in large part this scrutiny is a reasonable and even predictable result of James' aggressive use of the sealing procedure over the years to minimize the amount of meaningful information made available to the public.”

Jamie Spears, father of Britney was interviewed by PageSix last month where he addressed the theories by the ‘Free Britney’ movement supporters saying that these theories were absurd.

He continued to express that no one really knows what goes on behind doors in their household and why he has to keep his ‘conservatorship’ over Britney.

Many of Britney’s fans have also called out the ‘weird’ behavior that Britney displays in her social media posts. The fans believe that Britney is heavily drugged by her father and has pointed out how her current boyfriend is also controlling Britney. 

Britney has not posted anything about the ‘Free Britney’ movement, as well as the theories surrounding her living situation.
