Sarah Ferguson’s Sons-In-Law Reportedly Quit As Directors Of Duchess’ Company Rumpel Water
Sarah Ferguson’s sons-in-law, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have, reportedly, disassociated themselves from the Duchess of York professionally.
According to Woman’s Day, Brooksbank and Mozzi were named as two of the three directors of Rumpel Water, a water-cleansing company.
But just days after Mozzi’s appointment, he decided to quit as the director of the company. He, reportedly, made the decision just days before she tied the knot with Princess Beatrice.
According to a source, Fergie was devastated over Brooksbank and Mozzi’s decision. But there’s not much she can do because the company remains dormant.
“Both sons-in-law were going to get involved but then realized they didn’t have enough time to commit to Rumpel Water,” the source said.
But the insider also changed its tune quickly when they accused the Duchess of York of having dodgy businesses.
“Fergie is known for her dodgy business dealings, but having her newly acquired sons-in-law both bowing out within weeks is still quite shocking to her,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi also made headlines this week amid claims that they now staying at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s old house, Frogmore Cottage.
“It makes sense to everyone. Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie lives on the grounds in her own cottage and they’re excited to be neighbors. Only thing is, Meghan feels quite weird about it. She put a lot of personal touches into that place and now Beatrice – who isn’t exactly her best friend – gets to enjoy the spoils,” the source said.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Princess Beatrice and Mozzi are not moving into Frogmore Cottage.
The property is still owned by Prince Harry and Markle after Queen Elizabeth gave it to them as a wedding gift in 2018.
In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex vowed to pay back the taxpayers' money that was used to pay for the renovations of Frogmore Cottage. After doing so, the property will continue to belong to them.
According to reports, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi currently live at St. James’s Palace, which is a royal residence at Westminster.
But according to Hello! magazine, the royal couple live at The Nottingham Cottage which is situated within the grounds of Kensington Palace. It’s also just a stone’s throw away from where Princess Eugenie lives.
